Welcome to National Food Service Security Council (NFSSC)
What is NFSSC?
The National Food Service Security Council is a professional trade association of loss prevention, risk management, safety and security professionals from the restaurant and quick serve restaurant industries. We strive to be the voice of loss prevention and security within the restaurant industry. NFSSC provides representative leadership to both large and small restaurant chains, franchises and independently owned restaurants, as well as our supplier partners by promoting industry standards and benchmarks for their customers and employees. The purpose of NFSSC is to serve as a conduit for educational, networking and professional development opportunities for our members and member companies.
My membership in NFSSC has provided me with an invaluable resource of other industry practitioners who have always been willing to share their experience and best practices with me."
James Brussow, Director of Security, Dave and Buster’s, Inc.
Being a member of the NFSSC has provided our LP team the opportunity to grow their knowledge base through the programs on offer, and more importantly, to network with industry peers. Being able to reach out to members on the fly has proved to be an invaluable source of help to the Wendy’s team over the years. Our vendor show has also become a focal point for our newer members as they have the opportunity to see the latest prevention tools available to the industry. Building lasting relationships has proved to be invaluable.”
Chris Manning, Director, Loss Prevention & Security, The Wendy’s Company
The NFSSC is an organization built to improve life safety for our restaurant employees. Information sharing, prevention design and risk aversion are key strategies to creating safer and more secure restaurants.”
Joe Verber, Sr. Manager Loss Prevention, Taco Bell
The National Food Service Security Council has been the primary conduit of information not for safety & security professionals in the restaurant industry but also for restaurants operators. I have proudly been associated with the organization for twenty years.”
Gene James, Director Asset Protection, Jack in the Box
30 plus years, The National Food Service Council has given us training, education, networking and support. I don't think that there is anyone in the organization who hasn't benefited from the good work we have done together.”
Winston Griffin, McDonald’s
